Missing Teen's Body Found Near Cecil County Home: Maryland State Police

Maryland State Police say family members made a grisly discovery on Monday morning when they found the body of a missing teenager not far from his Cecil County home.

At approximately 8 a.m. on Monday, April 3, police say that Isaiah Workman, 16, of Conowingo, was found by family members in the 500 block of Stevens Road after he was reported missing over the weekend.

According to police, Workman was last seen on Story, April 1, and was reported missing by his family to Maryland State Police on Sunday, April 2 before his body was ultimately found on Monday morning.

It is unclear what caused Workman's death.

Troopers from the Maryland State Police North East Barrack and Criminal Enforcement Division’s Northern Region have assumed the investigation after the discovery of the teen’s body.

No additional information was provided by state police. Workman’s body has since been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore to determine the exact cause and manner of the teen’s death.

The teen’s death remains under investigation.
